I spent two nights at this lovely Motel whilst driving through to Orlando. I was on vacation from the UK. This Motel, albeit slightly older property, is set back from the road and is surrounded by well maintained grounds. The Parking lot is ample and you are able to park your car directly in-front of the room (very handy when you have lots of luggage!). The owners (family run) are very polite, courteous and professional. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The rooms were spacious (contained double beds, microwave, refrigerator, desk, place to store luggage and shower over bath). I would definitely recommend this tranquil motel and have already booked a two night stay later this year when we re-visit.
Had a great stay! Rooms were very nice and clean, everything in the room worked, and it was a great price. I felt safe staying here, and the owners were very accommodating. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area!
Clean, quiet, and cheap. Desk staff was nice, and the location was safe. Just be aware the room AC was off, and appliances unplugged so the room was initially warm, but cooled off quickly. Its no big issue, and I'm sure its to help keep the rates low.
I stayed here for 2 weeks due to the weather in NC and was pleasantly surprised. For an older motel in a very small town, you couldn’t beat it. Very reasonable prices, very clean, very quiet, and great people running the place. The area it was located in felt very safe. I can’t honestly think of one negative thing for my 2 weeks staying there. One more thing, I’m never a fan of carpeted floors in motels. You know they probably aren’t cleaned very often and tend to hold odors, but this place had wood-like flooring. I think that makes a huge difference! Made it feel even cleaner in there.

I stayed here for over three weeks while working out of town, and it was a great experience. The location is very quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to relax after long workdays. The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available if I needed anything. They really made me feel comfortable during my extended stay. I would definitely recommend this place.
I've stayed here almost every weekend since July and the owner and is family are ALWAYS nice. They truly make you feel welcomed. The rooms are always clean and only a few minutes from smith state prison.
